With over 25 years’ experience in the resort and leisure industry Burke Design  is aware of these changes and has developed a holistic approach that combines planning and design excellence to create memorable and authentic places that are beautiful, cost-effective and well-integrated into their locality.

Burke Design was commissioned by Sandals International Resorts to evaluate and make recommendation on repositioning portions of the newly acquired Emerald Bay Beach Resort. The property encompasses over 500 acres of prime Bahamian real estate; in addition to the recently transformed Sandals Emerald Bay the resort included a Greg Norman signature golf course, mega-yacht marina, resort infrastructure and resort housing parcels. The study included a general review of the overall resort and a detailed study for the Marina Village Area. Multiple design options for the village were developed, each exploring alternatives for developing resort/ hotel, commercial & resort residential components.
